I've been playing drum kit since 1986. My first gig was as an eager 9 year old in the family band. I've covered many styles and met many great people. I'm currently playing with The Dance Bandits and The Homecoming String Band.
Over the years I've played Ska with Bombskare, Reggae with Roots Rising, Swing Jazz with The Mending Hearts, Blues with Mike Parker, Bluegrass with Blueflint, Balkan with Orkestra Del Sol, Folk Pop with Hailey Beavis, Klezma with The Solomon Sisters, African with Diwan, Folk Rock with King Arthurs Men, Ceilidh with the Homecoming String Band and the Cosmic Ceilidh Band and covers with Callanish.

MC and Stage Manager
Each year for Edinburgh Meadows Festival I help programme the main stage and stage manage and MC the event. I've MC'd at Knockengorroch Festival, Kaleidoscope and Linkylea as well as for the hip music show Unpeeled run by Roberta Banana of the Banana Sessions. For eight years I hosted the respected Edinburgh club night Departure Lounge working alongside Chris Knight of Astrojazz. 2015-18 - Stage Manager and MC Meadows Festival 2014 - Stage manager - Fair Trade Fiesta 2013 - Reunion Canal Boat Charity annual Raft Race. 2012 - MC Kalediscope Festival 2012 - Red Dog Music's Christmas Sales Party. Percussion
I play live djembe and hand percussion and also Roland Handsonic for DJs in clubs.
Send me your requirements. I play a variety of percussion of all shapes and sizes. In 2009 I was part of a group of percussionists selected by Jim Sutherland to perform his music at the opening ceremony for Scotland's Homecoming.

Singer Songwriter
I've been playing Guitar and singing along with it since 1996. I can provide a mixture of folk and contemporary songs with a few of my own mixed in, this is something I do regularly in Hospitals.
